About Me

Dr. Nagaraju Barsu is obtained his M.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University and Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Basker Sundararaju. After his graduation he moved to Max-Planck-Institut fur Kohlenforschung Germany, to pursue his postdoctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alois Fuerstner. Since March 2022,he has joined the Organic Chemistry Division at the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory as a Ramanujan Fellow. His research interests are environmental benign method developments for the organic transformations and degradation methods from waste to value-added chemical feedstocks. 

Professional Experience

1. Ramanujan Fellow in Organic Chemistry Division CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India (2022-present).

2. Max Planck Group Fellowship for postdoctoral research, supervisor: Prof. Dr. Alois Fuerstner (05-2019 to 11-2021).

3. Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Basker Sundararaju (12-2013 to 04-2019).
