About Me
Dr. Nagaraju Barsuis obtained his M.Sc. from Banaras Hindu University and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur under the super vision of Prof. Dr. Basker Sundararaju. After his graduation he moved to Max-Planck-Institut fur Kohlenforschung Germany, to pursue his postdoctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alois Fuerstner. Since March 2022 he joined the Organic Chemistry Division at CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory as Ramanujan Fellow and continued up to October 2022. From October 2022 onward till date hold senior scientist position in the same institute.
His research interest are metal complex design and their synthesis for the new catalytic transformations mainly using transition metals for the depolymerization of polymer waste and its upcycling. In addition to this, also interested in methodology development for the functional group transformations; way towards the greener and sustainable approaches for fine chemical synthesis.
