About Me

I was born in May 1959. I completed Master Degree from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, in 1979 with first rank. I joined National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India for PhD in 1980 under the supervision of Dr N. D. Ghatge and received PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Pune in 1985. Currently, I am working as a Chief-Scientist in CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. My current research focuses on the design and synthesis of monomers based on renewable resource materials, high performance polymers, controlled radical polymerization, etc. I have to my credit more than 175 research papers and 21 international patents.
