Organotransition metal chemistry-applications in organic synthesis and catalysis (Mechanistic studies and synthetic application), oxidative addition, catalysis (Use of novel homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts, nitrogen ligands and metallacycle catalysts) of Heck reaction, Suzuki, Sonogashira coupling, C � H activation, Synthetic applications, ?-Lactams, ?-Lactones; multireactions of multifunctional compounds; Tamoxifen, Synthesis and application of metal nitrenes, aziridines and other N-heterocycles, route to complex heterocycles, carbocycles and other industrially important organic molecules; Transition metal catalyzed transfer hydrogenation, Alternative to conventional H2 gas and other reducing agents, asymmetric transfer hydrogenation; Racemic catalysis, synthesis and use of novel ligands, metal complexes and reducing agents.
