Education:- Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

 Major research focus of the group

•Design, isolation, synthesis, characterization of synthetic/ non-synthetic/herbal/ ayurvedic compounds / nanomaterials and evaluation of its medicinal properties by  biochemical, in-vitro and in-vivo methods for the purpose of drug discovery.

•Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of New Chemical Entities (NCE) in laboratory animals.

•Development and standardization of new animal models for various human diseases. e.g. Cancer  Model, Diabetes Model, Arthritis Model, Inflammatory Model etc.

•Efficacy and Preclinical Toxicity evaluation of synthetic and non-synthetic molecules in laboratory  animals as per various guidelines like FDA, OECD, ICH, Schedule ‘Y’ and GLP principles.
