Chemical Engineering & Process Development

About Me

Research in our group revolves around the synthesis of catalysts and materials that are inspired from nature. We are also interested in the fundamental understanding of their catalytic activity, directed self-assembly and hierarchical organization which allows us to generate bio-inspired artificial materials for diverse applications in chemistry and biology.

Professional Experience

  • Scientist, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune
  • Research Associate (June 2002 - September 2005): The Scripps Research Institute (With Professor M. G. Finn)
  • Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (November 2005-October 2006): Technical University Munich, Germany (With Prof Dr Thomas Schiebel)
