Dr. Chaitanya Mali is a chemical engineer and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) specialist by training. He completed his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, in 2013, followed by an M.Tech from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Raigad, in 2015. He earned his Ph.D. (Tech) in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT, Mumbai) in 2020.

During his doctoral studies, Dr. Mali contributed to two research projects sponsored by the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam. He has over three years of industry experience at Tridiagonal Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Sulzer India Pvt. Ltd., where he focused on CFD consulting for various oil and gas sector challenges.

His research interests include computational fluid dynamics, multiphase flow modeling, process design and scale-up, heat transfer analysis, and process optimization. Currently, Dr. Mali is actively engaged in microreactor design, reaction kinetics, continuous flow synthesis, and modeling of reforming and combustion processes.
