Our group is mainly focusing on metal-catalyzed depolymerization or up-cycling of the polymer waste. We deal with the different polymer materials like functional to polyolefins. We are intrested in synthesizing the new metal complexes using the different ligands where the ligand backbone will help to activate the desired bonds in the polymer. Along with the depolymerization reactions we are looking in greener approaches in  functional group transformations by using the metal catalysis for the fine chemical synthesis.  In addition to this, working on sustainable method developments applying the photo system.
