Our group is focusing on the development of new synthetic methods using renewable and abundant resources to tackle the existing challenges and unmet needs in sustainable organic syntheses. Newly developed methods will be applied for the synthesis and/or late stage diversification of medicinally relevant compounds. In particularly, full potential of renewable electricity will be explored for chemical transformations.

Research interests:

·       Sustainable Organic Syntheses

Electrosynthesis in batch and flow processes

Reagentless method development

Harnessing reactive radical intermediates

Catalyst design for asymmetric transformations

·       Application in Medicinal Chemistry and Valorization of waste materials
