Our is a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to polymers related to industrial and biomedical applications. The main topics developed at our group are bio-renewable polymers, Advanced Polymeric Biomaterials, Hydrogels, Polymers for Drug Delivery, and Polymers for Diagnostic. Our activities also include molecular design, synthesis of polymeric materials, and analysis of the interactions between polymer-based materials and biological components, such as cells and tissues, to establish a feedback loop for the development of innovative polymeric materials.
