Our research group focuses on the development of novel, functional nanomaterials for photocatalytic applications. Moreover, we are interested in integrating photocatalysts into the reactor to fabricate integrated devices. We are also interested in designing nanomaterials that can demonstrate enzyme-mimicking properties.
Figure 1. Integration of photocatalytic materials for practical application needs to consider different aspects.
Figure 2. Design of nanomaterials with enzyme like activities are useful for various applications, we are investigating oxidase-like nanozyme for sensing of biomolecules. Positions are available in our group!
Currently we are looking for motivated students with a good academic background in Inorganic/Material Chemistry for their M.Sc. thesis. Students with CSIR-NET/Inspire Fellowships etc who would like to pursue their PhD are encouraged to contact me at avi.saha@ncl.res.in
