Awards and Honours of Group Leader Krishnamoorthy received gold medal for securing first rank in MPhil (Alagappa University), India in 1999. Krishnamoorthy is a recipient of Alexander von Humboldt Experienced Researcher fellowship (2017-2018), Germany. Krishnamoorthy was the guest editor of a themed issue on field effect transitors published by Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics along with Professor Zhenan Bao (Stanford University, USA), Professor Antonio Facchetti (Northwestern University, USA) and Professor Wenping Hu (Chinese Academy of Sciences, China)
