Mr. Balaji M. Ghodake, UGC-SRF
Mr. Balaji M. Ghodake obtained his B.Sc. degree (2014) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and M.Sc. degree (2017) from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University – Nanded, Maharashtra. He joined our group for his Ph.D. degree in Jan-2020. Currently, he is working as a Senior Research Fellow. He is working on developments of C-C/C-X bond forming reactions and synthetic modifications of known biologically active molecules.

Mr. Sanjay A Wadkar, UGC-SRF
Mr. Sanjay A Wadkar his B.Sc. degree (2016) and M.Sc. degree (2019) from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University – Nanded, Maharashtra. He joined our group for his Ph.D. degree in 2022, August as a Junior Research Fellow.

Mr. Ajay G. Mamale (Project Associate I)
Mr. Ajay G. Mamale obtained his B.Sc. degree (2015) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and M.Sc. degree (2018) from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University – Nanded, Maharashtra. He joined our group as a Project Associate-I, in 2022.

Dr. Lakshmi Goswami, (AcSIR-2023)
Ms. Lakshmi Goswami obtained her B.Sc. degree (2013) and M.Sc. degree (2015) from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand. She joined our group for her Ph.D. degree from (2017-2023). Title of her thesis is "Design and synthesis of potent bioactive scaffolds via [3+2] cycloaddition,Glaser and Cadiot-Chodkiewicz coupling reactions; Cu catalyzed C-C bond forming reactions employing doner-acceptor cyclopropanes and bioactives from Aspergillus terreus". After obtaining her doctoral degree from AcSIR in 2023, she also worked as a Senior Project Associate (2023-2024).

Dr. Sayantan Paul (AcSIR, 2022)
Dr. Sayantan Paul obtained his B.Sc. degree (2012) from University of Calcutta and M.Sc. degree (2014) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Then he joined the group of Dr. Bhattacharya for his Ph.D. (2014-2021). Title of his thesis is “Approaches towards the synthesis of C-13 arylated artemisinin from artemisinic acid via C(sp2)–H and C(sp3)–H functionalization; Hydroxyl assisted transition metal free C(sp2)–H functionalization and biodynamics from Artocarpus heterophyllus and Aspergillus niger”. After obtaining his Doctorate degree from AcSIR in 2022, he also worked as a Senior Project Associate from (2022-2023).

Dr. Tharun Kotammagari (AcSIR, 2018)
Dr. Tharun received Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. A. K. Bhattacharya (2012-2018 from CSIR-NCL Pune in July 2018. After that, he joined in University at Albany (USA) as a postdoctoral research associate. Later, Tharun has industrial experience working in GVK BioSciences (now Aragen Life Sciences) from August 2019 to November 2020 in Hyderabad as an associate scientist. Currently, he is working (from 2020) in University of Turku (Finland) as TCSMT postdoctoral research fellow.

Dr. E. K. Aratikatla (AcSIR, 2019)
He obtained his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University, India in 2010. In 2012, he joined CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), India to pursue his Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. A. K. Bhattacharya (2012-2018). Later, he continued his research as a Research Associate at CSIR-NCL (2019-2020). Dr. Eswar joined TCG Life Sciences, India in 2021 as a Research Scientist. Currently, he is working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in H3D at the University of Cape Town from Feb 2022.
