About me

My group’s research activity involves developing mass spectrometric application for the proteomic research, as well as to understand the molecular mechanisms of biological process by using proteomic approaches.  Currently, the focus of my lab is to characterize advanced glycation modification of proteins using proteomic approaches and investigate their role in pathogenesis of diabetes and its complications. The long-term goal is to identify diagnostic markers for various diabetic complications, identify drug targets and develop intervention strategies.
