Instrumentation & communication unit caters to development work mainly in instrument development & total telecommunication needs of NCL using latest Alcatel server gateway technology OmniPCX enterprise. Presently group is working on the latest wireless instrumentation development, a forthcoming instrumentation standard which is inevitable globally. Developments are done for zigbee, probee and work is going on for wi-fi and embedded ethernet. Group expertise are in embedded using 32 bit RISC ARM core, total LabVIEW solution, PC based economical instrumentation upto imaging solutions, RS232 protocols, USB protocols, I2C prtocols, SPI for handheld embedded development. Group has expert knowledge in telephony upto IP , wireless telephony, Voice over IP (VOIP) and SIP solutions. With this knowledge and the perfect technology , group has transformed NCL telephone scenario in last 7 years. The comissioned technology would be in operation for next one decade for fruitful and with the technology solutions to NCL scientists and staff
