Research Area: Synthetic Organic Chemistry. Physical Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry.
Research Direction: We plan to develop new strategies and concepts for direct and diverse functionalization of naturally abundant materials to valuable chiral products.
Our long term goal is to develop small molecule chiral catalysts for asymmetric reactions with substrate classes lacking coordinating functional groups.
